Job Summary The Dietary Helper performs a variety of kitchen duties as assigned.
Assigned areas may be in patient food service, cafeteria food service or in dishwashing.
Duties Assembles prepared foods for regular or modified diet trays Delivers trays to serving area or Nursing Stations Prepares simple salads or desserts Prepares between-meal nourishment for patients Works on trayline to assist in patient tray set-up Operates a dishwasher Performs general cleaning duties in the Dietary Department Will perform other duties as assigned Other Info:
Lifting Requirements:
Medium - Generally lifting not more than 50 lbs.
maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Standing requirements are from 7 to 8 hours per day.
