SummaryAssists with the establishment, implementation and maintenance of proper controls relating to all financial reporting, cash and money room procedures with proper audit trail.
Responsible for the preparation of all financial and operating statements for all operating areas and monitor compliance with all operating procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned Responsible for the creation and maintenance of financial statements.
Interface with department heads and perform financial and operation analysis.
Monitor compliance with operating procedures and report variances to management.
Recommend system (operational, accounting, MIS) changes to management to enhance operations and reporting.
Monitor data entry processing and coordinate hardware/software needs to integrate operations with accounting/financial reporting.
Preparation of Operation-Wide Annual Budget.
Monitor fiscal and capital expenditures.
Coordinate external audits.
Responsible for Cash Management.
Establish and monitor credit policies and procedures.
Manage Cage, Vault, Payroll and Internal Audit functions.
Education/Experience/Certification Requisites:
Education Level - BS Degree in Accounting required.
MBS/CPA preferred.
Experience - 5 years as Controller, preferably in Gaming industry.
Must be able to obtain Gaming License AMust be able to pass applicable drug screen and extensive background investigation.
