Feather River Care Center - ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Administrator, the Director of Staff Development assumes responsibility for orientation, in-service education and training for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA's) to meet state regulatory agencies requirementsRecognizes educational needs of the SNF and CNA staff and facilitates accordinglyOur ideal candidate has firm knowledge of the DSD role and is ready to expand their career in creating, implementing and managing a CNA training program within the facility, in conjuction with area schools and/or as a part of our organization.
QualificationsDSD certificate preferred, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employmentMust have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of CaliforniaMust have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within the orientation process, prior to hands-on patient careAcquires basic Infection Prevention practice knowledge Previous clinical teaching experience of at least one (1) yearKnowledge of state and federal regulations as to C.
