Vehicle Description This is a 1968 San Jose, California built, rust free Cougar.
It has been completely disassembled cleaned and repainted.
No new body parts were used and no major body work was done as the car was in good shape.
The car was originally Ford Mystic Green and now is Ford (1965) Acupulco Blue.
Nason paint system was used and the color is redily available.
It had 3 base coats and 2 clear coats after primer and sealer.
It was wet sanded and polished.
All the original parts come with the car like power steering unit, original engine and misc parts.
The front suspension is new and polyurithane.
The steering is tight manual and the transmission is the original C4, shift kit and rear end has 3.
23 gears limited slip.
It has traction bars and large 17 inch rims with low profile nitrogen filled tires.
The engine is freshly re built 1989 5.
0 litre motor.
It has been ported and polished, 4 barrel Edelbrock fuel delivery and hei distributor.
Headmann headers, custom exhaust, 75 amp alternator and electric fan round it out.
Should be about 300 hp.
Interior is good newely recovered seats.
The dash is new and the windshield is new! All guages, lights and signals upgraded to digital box.
Heat, defrost and after market cd stereo.
It also has wilwood disc brakes, braided stainless lines, hei electronic ignition, kyb shocks and Shelby dropped front end with 620# springs.
The Cougar drives and handles well, you will be amazed if you drive the car.
The power is excellent and stopping is much improved.
You must see and drive it! You can drive it home confidently.
